We collect various types of information to provide and improve our services:
Information You Provide Directly:
- Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Name, email address, mobile number, user ID, gender, date of birth, marital status.
- Profile Data: Height, complexion, highest education, occupation, "About Me" (bio), hobbies & interests, family details, religious background (Aqeedah, Manhaj, etc.), scholars you follow/listen to, and your level of religious practice.
- Sensitive Information (Islamic Context): Your stance on being Muslim by birth or revert, willingness to marry a revert/widow/divorcee, and your stance on polygamy.
- Wali (Guardian) Information (for Female Users): Wali's full name, relationship to you (e.g., Father, Brother), and their WhatsApp contact number. This information is collected solely for the purpose of Islamic compliance and communication related to chat initiations.
- Partner Preferences: Desired age range for a partner, and general expectations from a future spouse.
- Profile Pictures: Photos uploaded for your profile.
- Verification Documents: Government-issued ID (e.g., Passport, Driving License, National ID) for identity verification.
Information Collected Automatically (Usage Data):
- Interaction Data: Information about your interactions within the app, such as profiles you view, interests sent/received/accepted, photo requests sent/received/approved, messages exchanged, search queries, and profiles you shortlist.
- Activity Status: Information about your last active time and online status.
- Technical Data: Device information (type, operating system), app version, IP address (for general location), and other diagnostic data.
- Payment Status: Information about payment transactions (success/failure, payment IDs) received from our payment gateway (Dodo Payments). We do not store your full payment card details.
Information from Third-Party Services:
- Firebase: We use Firebase for backend services, push notifications (FCM tokens), and analytics.
- Dodo Payments: Payment processing details are handled securely by Dodo Payments. We receive confirmation of payment status and transaction IDs.
