Overview

RecipePoint is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data with third parties. Almost all data stays on your device.

Data We Store Locally on Your Device

RecipePoint stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your name and profile photo
• Recipes you create or import, including ingredients, steps, notes, and photos
• Meal plans and grocery lists
• Pantry items
• Dietary preferences, allergies, and nutrition goals
• App settings and preferences
• Purchase status

This data never leaves your device unless you are a Premium subscriber with iCloud sync enabled, in which case it is synced privately through your personal iCloud account. Apple handles this sync and we have no access to it.

Recipe Import

When you import a recipe from a URL, the app makes a network request to fetch the webpage you provide. We do not log, store, or transmit the URLs you enter. The fetched content is processed entirely on your device.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing.

Analytics and Tracking

RecipePoint does not use any analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers. We do not track your behavior inside the app.
