Privacy Policy for Qif
Effective Date: June 2026
Qif respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Qif handles information.
Information Collection
Qif does not require accounts, login, or personal identifiers, and does not collect information that personally identifies you (such as your name, email, or contacts).
Your settings, dhikr counts, and app restriction preferences remain stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to external servers.
The only information Qif sends off your device is the limited, anonymous analytics described in the "Analytics" section below.
Screen Time and App Usage
Qif uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to help users manage app usage. These frameworks operate entirely within Apple's secure system environment.
Qif does not receive browsing history, detailed usage logs, or personal device activity. Qif only receives the minimum information necessary to enforce restrictions selected by the user. All enforcement occurs locally on the device.
Notifications
Qif may use local notifications generated on your device to provide reminders.
Qif may also use Apple's Push Notification Service (APNs) to send remote notifications such as announcements, updates, or reminders. These notifications do not collect personal information and are used solely to communicate information related to Qif.
Qif does not use notifications for tracking purposes.
Analytics
Qif collects a small amount of anonymous usage data to understand how many people install and use the app and where they are located. Specifically, Qif records:
With each of these events, Qif derives an approximate location (city, region, and country) from the network (IP) address of the request. The IP address itself is not stored — only the resulting approximate location.
