This Privacy Policy explains how PvP (the “Extension”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you install and use it. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Extension.
What the Extension does
The Extension helps you modify how webpages look and behave in your browser by generating and running scripts (e.g., JavaScript/CSS/configuration). You may also choose to share scripts and provide a Preview that demonstrates the modification effect (e.g., a first-screen preview). Some features may call our API, which may include AI-generated outputs.
Information we collect
We follow a data-minimization approach. Depending on which features you use, we may collect:
A. Information you provide
- Account details (if you create an account): e.g., phone number, email, or third-party login profile basics (such as nickname/avatar), only if you choose to use such login methods.
- Scripts and related metadata: scripts you create/import/edit/save/share (code and configurations), script name, description, tags, and version information.
- AI prompts / inputs (if you use AI/API features): the text or code you submit to generate or improve scripts, and your feedback (like/dislike, error reports you submit).
- Support communications: messages you send us (and attachments you provide) when you contact support.
B. Information collected automatically (device/usage logs)
To keep the Extension stable and secure, we may collect:
- Device and environment information: browser type/version, OS type/version, language/time zone, extension version.
- Operational logs: feature usage events, performance metrics, crash/error diagnostics, and security-related logs.
- Network identifiers (limited): IP address and similar identifiers may be processed by our servers when you use online features (e.g., sharing, previews, API calls) for security, abuse prevention, and service delivery.
C. Webpage-related information (only when you choose relevant features)
Most webpage modifications occur locally in your browser. However, if you use specific features (e.g., sharing/preview, cloud sync, AI/API assistance), we may process limited webpage-related information such as:
