Phase One does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Specifically:
Items you bookmark (trials or drugs) are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
When you use the "Explain in plain English" feature, the publicly available trial or drug information displayed on screen is sent to our backend server to generate a plain-English summary using Google's Gemini API. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests. Requests are rate-limited to prevent abuse.

Phase One is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
