Overview
Nibble is a privacy-first Chrome extension designed to help users practice mindful browsing. This privacy policy explains how Nibble handles your data.
Data Collection
Nibble collects and stores the following data locally on your device:
- Blocked Domains List: The websites you choose to block
- Journal Entries: Your written reflections when visiting blocked sites
- Settings: Your preferences including timer duration and work hours configuration
- Session State: Temporary data about which sites you've unlocked during your current browsing session
Nibble does NOT collect, transmit, or share:
- Any personal information
- Browsing history beyond domains you explicitly add to your block list
- Analytics or usage statistics
- Telemetry data of any kind
Data Storage
All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This means:
- Your data never leaves your device
- Your data is not transmitted to any servers
- Your data is not accessible to the extension developer
- Your data is not shared with any third parties
