This Privacy Policy describes how Italian in 1 Day: Vocabulary ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use the app on Android, iPhone, and iPad.

1. Overview

Italian in 1 Day: Vocabulary is an educational vocabulary-learning app for language learners. It may be used by individual learners, teachers, and in classroom or educational settings.

The app is designed to store personal study content primarily on the user's own device. Word lists, learning progress, and app settings are not automatically uploaded to our servers.

This Privacy Policy explains what limited technical data may be processed to operate app features such as notifications, analytics, and catalog delivery.

2. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

This data is not automatically sent to our servers. We do not access this data unless you voluntarily contact support and choose to share information with us, for example in a bug report or support email.

3. Data we collect

To provide and improve the app, we may process the following limited technical data:

Push notification identifier

If you allow notifications, we store a push notification token (such as an Expo Push Token or a platform push token) using Firebase services so the app can send notifications to your device.

This token is used only for delivering notifications, such as updates about new word-list categories or similar app-related alerts. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Product interaction data

We use PostHog analytics to understand how the app is used. For example, we may collect screen views, feature usage, app events such as starting a learning session, and catalog-related actions such as downloading a list.

This data may be associated with an anonymous or pseudonymous device or session identifier. It is used only for product analytics, troubleshooting, and app improvement, and not for advertising, sale to data brokers, or cross-app tracking.
