InsideSoul (hereinafter referred to as "the App") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Since the App does not require registration or login, we do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).
1. Information We Collect
The App is designed to prioritize user privacy.
- Journal Content: All notes, photos, and emotional data you input are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your private entries.
- Backup Data: If you choose to use the Google Drive Backup feature, your data will be uploaded to your personal Google Drive storage. This data is encrypted and managed by Google’s infrastructure; we do not host or access this backup on any independent server.
- Anonymous Usage Data: We may collect non-identifiable information such as crash reports, device model, and OS version to improve app performance and fix bugs.
2. No Central Server
InsideSoul operates without a central server. Your personal data is never transmitted to our systems. You have full control over your data, including its creation, storage, and deletion.
3. Purpose of Collection and Use
Any non-identifiable data collected is used strictly for:
- Improving app stability and fixing technical issues.
- Enhancing user experience and developing new features based on usage statistics.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local Data: Since your data is stored on your device, it remains there until you manually delete it or uninstall the App.
- Backup Data: You can manage or delete your backups directly through your Google Drive account at any time.
- Anonymous Logs: Technical logs are automatically deleted once they are no longer needed for troubleshooting.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google Drive: The App uses Google Drive API for the optional backup feature. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
