Data Collection and Storage
What We Store Locally
The following data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API:
-HubSpot API Token - Your private access token for authenticating with HubSpot's API
-Slack Webhook URL (optional) - If you choose to enable Slack notifications
-User Preferences - Default task settings such as due time, assigned owner, and notification preferences
-Temporary Page Context - Information about the current webpage (LinkedIn profile names, HubSpot record IDs) to enable quick task creation
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or address
- We do not track your browsing history
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
- We do not store any data on external servers
- We do not have access to your HubSpot password

Data Transmission
HubSpot API
The extension communicates directly with HubSpot's official API (api.hubapi.com) to:
- Create, read, update, and delete tasks in your HubSpot account
- Search for contacts, companies, and deals
- Fetch task owner information
All communication with HubSpot uses HTTPS encryption. Your API token is sent directly to HubSpot and is never transmitted to any other service.
Slack API (Optional)
If you configure Slack notifications, the extension sends task information to your specified Slack webhook URL. This is entirely optional and only activated if you provide a webhook URL in the settings.
