When you upload a photo to generate a professional headshot, we collect and process face data as follows:

How facial features are used: Your facial features are analyzed by AI technology to generate a professional headshot while preserving your identity, ethnicity, and key facial characteristics

- We do not use facial recognition technology to identify you
- We do not create or store biometric identifiers, facial geometry maps, or faceprints
- We do not use your face data for any purpose other than generating your requested headshot
- We do not access your photos automatically or without your explicit action

How long is face data stored?	Approximately 30 seconds during active processing.
Why this specific duration?	30 seconds is the typical time required for the AI to process your photo and return a generated headshot. Once processing completes, the original photo is immediately discarded from memory.
Is face data saved to disk or database?	No. We use volatile (RAM) memory only. Nothing is written to permanent storage.

Third-Party: Google Gemini AI

We share your uploaded photo with Google Gemini AI for the sole purpose of generating your professional headshot. Below are Google's data handling practices:

Does Google store your face data?	According to Google's Generative AI Terms of Service and Data Governance practices, when using the paid API: Google does not use your data to train their AI models, and input data (your photo) is not retained after processing is complete.
How long does Google retain data?	Google processes the image in real-time to generate the headshot. Per their API data handling policies, customer input data is not stored beyond the immediate processing request. Google may retain limited logs for up to 30 days solely for abuse monitoring, safety, and legal compliance purposes.
Why does Google retain logs?	Brief log retention is required by Google for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and legal compliance—not for AI training or commercial purposes.
