You may enter a ChatAnywhere API key inside the settings page.

• This key is stored locally using Chrome’s chrome.storage.sync API
• The key is never sent to any server other than ChatAnywhere, and only when you choose to send a message.

1.2. Chat Messages (User-Generated)

When you use the assistant, your messages are sent directly to the ChatAnywhere API to generate responses, as shown in the code’s fetch() request .

No other servers receive or store these messages.

We do not collect or store these messages.
