1. Data Collection and Usage Doc2Prompt is designed as a privacy-first document processing tool. We fundamentally separate the processing of your private files from the verification of your purchase license.
A. Personal Information (License Verification Only) To unlock Pro features, we communicate with Gumroad to verify your purchase. We process the following information solely for this purpose: • License Key: The unique code provided by Gumroad upon purchase. • Email Address: Associated with your purchase (if required for verification).
B. User Files and Content (100% Local Processing) Doc2Prompt processes your documents (PDF, Excel, Word) locally within your browser using client-side libraries. • No Server Uploads: Your files are NEVER uploaded to our servers or any cloud storage. • Local Conversion: All file processing and text extraction happen entirely on your device. • No AI Training: Your documents are never used to train AI 모델. • Full Ownership: You maintain complete ownership and control of your data.
