# Privacy Policy for CycleViz

CycleViz ("CycleViz", "we", "us", or "our") is a personal tracking app for informational use. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you when you use the CycleViz iOS application and related support channels.

This Privacy Policy is written for the current version of CycleViz as of the effective date above. If we add new data uses or integrations in future releases, we will update this Privacy Policy before or at the time those changes take effect.

CycleViz is distributed through the Apple App Store.

## 2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

- the CycleViz iOS app;
- subscription and purchase processing connected to the app; and
- support communications you send to us.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that have their own privacy notices, including Apple and RevenueCat. Where those services process your data for their own purposes, their privacy notices also apply.

## 3. Data We Process

### A. Data you create and store in the app

CycleViz is designed to store your tracking data locally on your device. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

- cycle names and schedule information;
- compound names;
- injection logs, including date, time, dose, unit, injection site, and notes;
- symptom logs, including symptom title, severity, date, time, and notes;
- reminder preferences;
- onboarding acknowledgements, such as disclaimer acceptance and adult confirmation;
- app settings and basic app state used to operate features.

### B. Subscription and purchase data

If you purchase, restore, or hold a subscription, Apple and our subscription provider RevenueCat may process data needed to manage your purchase and entitlement status. This may include:

- product identifiers;
- purchase receipts and transaction status;
- subscription and entitlement status;
- an app user identifier created by the subscription system;
- limited device and app metadata needed to validate purchases and deliver subscription access.

CycleViz currently uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions.

### C. Notification-related data

If you enable reminders, the app processes:

- your notification permission status; and
- reminder schedules and local notification content needed to display reminders on your device.

### D. Data you send in support requests

If you contact us by email, we will process the information you provide, such as your email address, message content, and any details you choose to include.

## 4. Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect

As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, CycleViz does not intentionally use:

- third-party advertising SDKs;
- cross-app tracking for advertising purposes;
- App Tracking Transparency prompts;
- third-party product analytics tools such as Mixpanel;
- HealthKit synchronization in the live product;
- location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo library access for core functionality.

If any of the above changes in a later version, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when the change goes live.

## 5. How We Use Data

We use data to:

- provide the app’s tracking functionality;
- save and display your cycles, logs, symptoms, settings, and reports;
- send local reminders if you enable them;
- generate local reports you choose to export or share;
- manage subscriptions, purchases, restorations, and entitlement status;
- respond to support requests;
- maintain app security, reliability, and legal compliance.

## 6. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on the following:

- performance of a contract: to provide the app, subscription access, and requested functionality;
- your consent: for optional permissions such as notifications;
- legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, support, and improve the service in a proportionate way;
- legal obligations: where retention or disclosure is required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data only as needed with:

- Apple, for App Store distribution, billing, subscription management, and refund handling;
- RevenueCat, for subscription infrastructure and entitlement management;
- service providers you choose to use through your own actions, such as when you export or share a report;
- legal or regulatory authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

## 8. International Transfers

Some service providers may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on the provider’s applicable transfer safeguards and contractual commitments.

Because RevenueCat and Apple operate globally, purchase-related data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your own.

## 9. Data Retention

We keep different categories of data for different periods:

- locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or reset device storage;
- support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, and keep records;
- subscription and transaction-related data may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and operational requirements.

## 10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data.

Because most CycleViz tracking data is stored locally on your device, many controls are in your hands directly. You can generally:

- edit or delete entries inside the app;
- disable reminders in the app or device settings;
- uninstall the app to remove locally stored data from your device;
- manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple;
- contact us regarding support or privacy questions.

If you contact us about a privacy request, we may ask for information necessary to verify and process your request.

## 11. Children

CycleViz is intended only for adults. The app is not directed to children, and it is not intended for users under 18 years old.

CycleViz is a personal tracking tool for informational use only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dosage recommendations. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

## 13. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information processed through CycleViz. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

## 14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version made available before or when those changes take effect.
