CLocked is designed to operate with minimal data collection. We collect only the information necessary to provide and support the Services:

• Name to identify user accounts
• Email address for account creation, authentication, and service communications
• Device information such as device type, operating system version, and basic diagnostic data used for performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Attendance and scan data including timestamps and class or session identifiers generated when a student scans into or out of a class

We do not collect or store sensitive personal information, including passwords, home addresses, precise location data, browsing history, private communications, detailed academic records, contacts, photos, or financial information.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to operate and improve the Services, including to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
• Enable and enforce school-configured app access restrictions during instructional periods
• Provide attendance and participation records to authorized school personnel
• Communicate service updates, administrative notices, and support responses
• Detect, log, and report system tampering or misuse events to school administrators
• Analyze aggregated and anonymized usage data to improve system reliability and performance
