“Broken Link Detector” is a Chrome Extension that allows users to scan and identify broken hyperlinks on any webpage they visit. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about the data we collect and how it is used.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following information:

• Personally identifiable information (PII)
• Email addresses, passwords, phone numbers, or other sensitive data
• Health or financial data
• Browsing history or activity outside the current tab
• Content of websites or user communications

3. How the Extension Works

• The extension operates entirely locally on your browser.
• When activated, it scans the links present on the currently open web page and checks their response status.
• All processing occurs within the browser using built-in Chrome APIs.
• Detected broken links are displayed in the extension popup interface and are not transmitted to any server.
