Anime Swiper ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
Anime Swiper stores the following data locally on your device using AsyncStorage:
●Anime Swipe History: Records of anime you've swiped on, including:
●Anime titles and IDs
●Your classification choice (Want to Watch, Watched, Not Interested, or Neutral)
●Timestamp of when you classified each anime
●AI Analysis Data: When you unlock and generate AI-powered taste analyses, we store:
●Your analysis results for each unlocked level
●Generation timestamps
●Swipe statistics used to generate analyses
●App Preferences: Basic app settings and preferences
Important: All of this data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store this information on our servers.
When you request AI-powered taste analysis, we temporarily send your swipe data to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized recommendations. This includes:
●Anime titles and genres you've interacted with
●Your swipe classifications
●Basic statistics about your preferences
This data is processed in real-time to generate your analysis and is not permanently stored by Anthropic beyond standard API logging practices.
