AndThen ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application processes and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

AndThen is designed with privacy as a priority.

No Accounts Required: You can use the app without creating an account, logging in, or providing your name or email address.
User Content: When you input a goal (e.g., "Plan a trip"), that text is processed to generate task suggestions.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the text you input solely to provide the core functionality of the app: breaking down your goals into smaller steps.

AI Processing: Your input text is sent securely to Google’s Gemini API for processing. This data is used strictly to generate the response (the list of steps) and is not used by us to identify you personally.
Local Storage: The tasks and history you create are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. We (the developers) do not have access to your saved tasks, history, or usage habits.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service to provide AI functionality:

Google Gemini API: We transmit your goal text to Google to generate the task list. Google’s use of this data is governed by their own privacy terms. We do not send any personal identifiers (like your name or device ID) to Google.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention: Your data remains on your device until you delete it.
Deletion: You can delete individual tasks within the app. If you delete the AndThen app from your iPhone, all locally stored data is permanently removed from the device.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
