Data Storage

Data Storage All your data stays on your device. Sourdough Forge stores your starters, recipes, and baking journal entries locally on your iPhone. We do not have access to this data, and it is never uploaded to our servers. Exception: Data sent to the AI Coach is temporarily processed in the cloud to generate your answer, but is not permanently stored on our servers.

Data We Collect

Purchase Information

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to process in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat collects:

• An anonymous user identifier
• Device identifier
• Purchase history

This data is used solely to:

• Process your purchases
• Restore purchases on new devices
• Manage your subscription status

AI Assistant Interactions When you use the "Sourdough Coach" feature, the following data is processed:

• Text Queries: The questions or messages you send to the coach.
• Context Data: Information about your selected sourdough starter (e.g., name, age, last feeding ratio) to provide relevant advice.
