Plation Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Rankings Now mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to an exhaustive "Local-First" privacy model to ensure your personal opinions and social debates remain entirely private.
1. Information Collection and Usage
- No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
- Local Voting & Rankings: All rankings and guesses are processed locally on your device. We do not track who is playing or what their specific preferences are.
- AirPlay Connectivity: The App utilizes Apple’s AirPlay technology to display the ranking board and results on compatible televisions. This connection is managed by your system software; Plation Inc. does not monitor or receive data from your stream.
2. Data Storage and Processing
- On-Device Only: All logic for item randomization and scoring happens strictly on your local hardware.
- No Cloud Sync: Your session history and player "correctness" stats are stored locally and are never uploaded to external servers.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
- Deleting the App will permanently remove all local preferences. We cannot recover data because we never host it.

This Agreement is between you and Plation Inc. for the use of Rankings Now.
1. License Grant Plation Inc. grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment and social icebreaking.
2. Nature of the Game
- Social Utility: The App provides prompts for players to rank and guess. Plation Inc. is not responsible for any social disputes or "friendship tests" arising from how players rank specific items.
- AirPlay & Hardware Safety: Users interact with their device while casting to a larger display. You acknowledge responsibility for the physical safety of your device and the display hardware.
