At Notify – Smart Notes & Tasks, your privacy and peace of mind come first. This extension was built to help you stay organized, not to collect or analyze your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

Notify does not collect, track, or transmit any personal information.

All your notes, tasks, preferences, and notifications are stored locally within your browser using Chrome’s secure storage API.

We do not use cookies, analytics tools, or remote databases to handle or monitor your data.

2. How Your Data is Used

All data you create within the extension — including notes, tasks, and settings — remains on your own device.

Notify simply saves this data locally so you can access it again whenever you open your browser.

There is no background data sharing, remote synchronization, or cloud backup involved.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Notify will never share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties.

Your personal content, tasks, or notes are completely private and remain within your own browser environment.

4. Permissions and Their Purpose

To deliver a smooth and efficient experience, Notify uses a few standard Chrome permissions:

• storage – to save notes, tasks, and preferences locally.
• sidePanel – to open the Notify sidebar for easy access while browsing.
• notifications – to send optional reminders or alerts you create yourself.
• tabs & activeTab – to detect the current tab for linking notes or tasks.
