The Mindify app cares about your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.

2. What data do we collect?
Mindify does not require sensitive personal information such as your physical address or phone number. However, in order to provide mental training and personalization features, we may collect:
- Login information:
- Email address (if you sign up with email)
- Apple ID (if you sign up with Apple)
- Name or Nickname (if you choose to provide it)
- Profile details:
- Sport Discipline (to tailor the AI advice)
- Age / Gender (optional)
- User content & Metrics:
- Daily Check-in data: Body Battery scores, Mental Focus scores, and tags describing your condition.
- Daily Goals: The tasks and targets you set for yourself.
- Journaling: Text entries you write to the Coach.
- Voice recordings: Audio data you choose to record for transcription.
All journal entries, voice transcripts, and readiness scores are private and accessible only to you inside the app.
3. Purpose of data collection
Your data is used only to:
- enable login and account creation,
- save your progress, goals, and history,
- generate AI-based sports psychology insights and personalized feedback,
- calculate your Mindset Metrics and performance trends,
- provide weekly summaries and recommendations.
❌ We do not use your data for advertising, tracking, or selling to third parties.
4. Use of third-party services (AI & Cloud)
Mindify uses third-party services to provide its core functionality.
- Google Gemini API: Used to process text and voice transcripts to generate insights, summaries, and "Coach" responses. Your data is processed securely and is not used by Google to train their public models.
