This Privacy Policy explains how MiScale Sync ("App") accesses, uses, stores, and shares user and device data.

2. Data We Access and Process

The App processes only data needed to provide its functions:

• Body measurement data: weight, impedance, and calculated body metrics (such as body fat percentage) from scale readings.
• Profile data entered by the user: age, height, gender, selected scale model, and related settings.
• Bluetooth technical data: BLE device identifier (for example, MAC address), connection/scanning state, and (for supported encrypted scales) user-provided BLE key.
• App configuration data: preferences such as theme, scan timeout, and auto-sync options.

3. Why We Process Data

Data is processed to:

• connect the App to a compatible Bluetooth scale;
• acquire and process measurements;
• store measurement history on-device so users can view trends;
• sync measurements to Health Connect when initiated or enabled by the user (and to services connected by the user to Health Connect, such as Fitbit);
