1. Overview

Intellibite ("the App") is a Shopify application developed and operated by Angela Nedelcu. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

From merchants (store owners):

• Shopify shop domain and session tokens (required for authentication)
• Product data (titles, descriptions, metafields) — used only for allergen tagging
• App settings and plan information

From customers (storefront visitors):

• Dietary preferences — stored locally in the customer's browser (localStorage) only. We do not store customer preferences on our servers.
• Anonymous interaction events: warning shown, alternative clicked, cart saved. These are not linked to any individual customer identity.

3. How We Use Data

• To provide allergen tagging, cart warnings, and safe alternative features
• To display analytics to the merchant about their store's protection activity
• To enforce plan limits and billing

We do not sell, rent, or share merchant or customer data with third parties, except as required to operate the app (see section 4).
