Vaultr ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Vaultr app collects, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that information.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Vaultr does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. We do not operate any servers that receive your data.

All information you enter into Vaultr — including income, expenses, bills, subscriptions, savings goals, budgets, and any notes — is stored exclusively on your device and, optionally, in your own private iCloud account.

We do not collect: • Your name, email address, or contact details • Your bank account information or financial credentials • Your location • Any analytics or usage tracking data • Any device identifiers for advertising purposes

  1. HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED

Local storage: All data you enter is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

iCloud backup: If you are signed into iCloud on your device, Vaultr automatically backs up your data to your own private iCloud container (CloudKit private database). This backup is encrypted, accessible only by you, and governed by Apple's iCloud privacy policy. We have no access to it.

This iCloud backup allows your data to survive if you delete and reinstall the app, or move to a new device signed into the same iCloud account.

  1. THIRD PARTIES

Vaultr does not share your data with any third parties. The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking technologies.

The only third party involved in Vaultr's operation is Apple, which provides the iCloud storage service. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

PAYMENT PROCESSING Subscriptions to Vaultr Premium are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. Vaultr never sees, stores, or transmits your payment information. Apple's handling of subscription transactions is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

  1. YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTROL

Because all your data is stored on your device and in your iCloud account, you have complete control: • To delete your data: delete it within the app, or uninstall Vaultr • To remove your iCloud backup: sign into iCloud.com or your device settings and delete Vaultr's iCloud data • To export your data: use the export feature within the Reports tab

  1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Vaultr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, since the app does not collect information from anyone.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be communicated through the App Store update notes.
