OnlyFriends (hereinafter "Company") values users' personal information and has established and published this Privacy Policy to safely process personal information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations in providing OnlyFriends (hereinafter "Service").

      • Email address or social login identifier (Google, Apple, etc.)
      • Nickname
      • Password (if applicable)
      • Language/country information

      (2) Optional items

      • Self-introduction
      • Gender
      • Interests
      • City or region of residence

    2. Information automatically generated and collected during service use

      • Device information (OS, device model, app version, etc.)
      • Log information (access date and time, usage records, IP address, etc.)
      • Identifiers necessary for service operation, such as push tokens for notification delivery

    3. When using face photo verification feature

      • Face photo (selfie) image taken directly by the user
      • Internal judgment results such as matching with profile photo, verification success/failure, verification date and time

      ※ Face photo verification is an optional feature, and users can use the basic service functions even if they do not consent. However, some functions determined by the Company (e.g., participation in certain meetups, host functions, etc.) may be restricted.

    4. When using payment and paid services

      • Payment history, purchased coin/product information
      • Payment-related identification information provided by app markets (Apple App Store, Google Play, etc.)

      ※ Sensitive payment information such as credit card numbers is directly processed by app markets or payment processors, and the Company does not directly store such information.

Article 2 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information)

  1. The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

    1. Service provision and operation

      • Membership registration, login, and account management
      • Providing service functions such as friend/meetup recommendations, matching, and chatting
      • Providing localized and customized services according to country and language

    2. Creating a safe usage environment

      • Verifying actual identity and adult status through face photo verification
      • Detecting and preventing fraud, spam, scams, and improper use
      • Displaying badges such as "얼굴인증" (Face Verified) or "Verified Face" for verified members

    3. Customer support and dispute resolution

      • Processing inquiries and complaints, delivering notices
      • Processing reports and taking action on violations of terms of service

    4. Service improvement and statistical analysis

      • Quality improvement and feature development using service usage records
      • Server load management and user experience (UX) improvement

      ※ In this case, information is processed in statistical form that cannot identify individuals.

    5. Legal compliance and fulfillment of legal obligations

      • Responding to relevant laws and regulations, legitimate requests from administrative and judicial agencies
      • Fulfilling legal obligations such as accounting, taxation, and dispute response

Article 3 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)

  1. The Company sets the retention period of personal information as follows:
    1. General member information
      • Destroyed immediately upon membership withdrawal.
      • However, if retention is required for a certain period under relevant laws, it will be retained for the period specified by such laws and then destroyed.
    2. Face photo verification images
      • Face photo images are used only for verification review and are deleted as promptly as possible after review completion.
      • Considering system operation and backup, face photo images are completely deleted within a maximum of 30 days from the review completion date.
      • The Company may separately retain only verification results (e.g., adult status, verification success/failure, verification type, verification date and time, etc.).
    3. Service usage records (logs)
      • May be retained for a certain period (typically within 1 year) for service operation, security, and prevention of improper use.
      • If relevant laws require a longer retention period, it may be retained for that period.

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

  1. The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties in principle.
  2. However, it may be exceptionally provided in the following cases:
    1. When the user has explicitly consented in advance
    2. When there is a legal basis or a legitimate request from public agencies such as investigation or trial
    3. When necessary to prevent urgent danger to the user's life, body, or property

Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)

  1. The Company may entrust personal information processing as follows for service provision:
