Clip to Gist is a browser extension that helps users collect clipboard content and upload selected text to platforms like GitHub Gist, Notion, Flomo, or Gitee. We take privacy seriously.

Information We Access

• Clipboard Data: We access clipboard content only when you manually trigger the action. The content is used exclusively within the extension and never transmitted to our servers.
• API Tokens: You may input tokens (e.g., GitHub Token, Notion Token) to allow the extension to upload data to these platforms. These tokens are stored locally in your browser (via chrome.storage.sync) and never transmitted elsewhere.

What We Don't Do

• We do not collect or transmit any personal data to our servers.
• We do not track user behavior.
• We do not store clipboard history.

User Control

• You can remove your tokens at any time via the extension’s settings page.
• All data stays within your browser unless explicitly sent to the APIs of third-party platforms (e.g., GitHub).
