Overview

Arc-Style Tab Switcher is a Chrome extension that provides keyboard-driven tab switching with a visual overlay. This policy explains how the extension handles your data.

What Data the Extension Accesses

The extension accesses the following data locally on your device:

• Tab metadata: Page titles, URLs, and favicons of your open tabs, used to display the tab switcher overlay.
• Tab screenshots: Temporary screenshots of your visible tabs, used to show thumbnail previews in the switcher overlay.
• Tab activation order: The order in which you switch between tabs, used to sort tabs by most recently used.

How Your Data Is Used

All data is used solely to provide the tab switching functionality. Specifically:

• Tab metadata and screenshots are used to render the visual switcher overlay.
• Tab activation order is used to sort your tabs by most recently used.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally in your browser's memory and is never written to disk. All data is cleared when you close your browser or restart the extension. No data persists between browser sessions.

Data Sharing

We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any user data. All data remains entirely on your local device and is never sent to any server, third party, or external service.

Permissions

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

• tabs: To read tab titles, URLs, and manage tab switching.
• activeTab: To inject the overlay UI into the current tab.
