What is "To Do"?

"To Do" is a simple, voice-first app to capture tasks, ideas, and notes

What information do we collect?

• Email address: Used to create your account and log you in
• Tasks, ideas, notes: The text content you create within the app
• Voice input: Used for speech-to-text conversion (see details below)

How do we use your information?

• Your email is used solely for authentication and account recovery
• Your tasks and ideas are stored so you can access them across your devices
• Voice input is converted to text and handled differently based on your device:
  • iOS app: Speech is processed entirely on-device using Apple's built-in speech recognition. No audio data leaves your device.
  • Web browser: Audio is sent to our secure cloud transcription service (powered by Google Gemini AI), processed in real-time, and immediately deleted. We do not store your audio.

Password Reset

If you use the "Forgot your password?" feature, we will send a password reset link to your email address. This email is sent through Resend, a third-party email service. We only share your email address with Resend for the sole purpose of delivering this transactional email.

Who has access to your data?

• Only you can see your tasks and ideas
• We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way
• We use secure cloud infrastructure to store your information
