Routine · Last updated: 17th June 2026

The short version: Routine stores everything on your device. We don't have an account system, we don't run a server that holds your data, and your routine never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it yourself. We don't sell or share your information, because we don't collect it.

This Privacy Policy explains how Routine ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Routine is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require an account, an email address, or a sign-up to use the app.

The information you enter into Routine — such as your products, categories, schedules, and which items you have checked off — is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit this information to us or to any third party, and we cannot access it.

Where your data is stored

All of your data lives in the app's local storage on your device. It stays there until you delete it, either by resetting your data inside the app or by uninstalling the app. We do not keep a copy on any server.

Data you choose to export

Routine lets you export your data as a file for backup. When you do this, the file is created and saved wherever you choose to send it (for example, your device storage, a cloud drive, or a messaging app). Once that file leaves the app, how it is stored and who can access it is controlled by you and by the service you send it to, not by us.

Analytics and tracking

Routine does not include third-party advertising. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not build a profile of you.

[If you add an analytics or crash-reporting tool later — for example to count anonymous launches or catch bugs — describe it here, including what it collects and a link to that provider's privacy policy. If you never add one, you can delete this note.]

Purchases

If the app offers paid features or subscriptions, those purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled by the store, and we never receive or store your payment details such as card numbers. Your purchase and subscription status is managed by your store account in line with that store's own privacy policy.

[If you use a purchase-management service such as RevenueCat, name it here and link its privacy policy, since it may receive a device identifier tied to the purchase.]

App stores

When you download or update Routine, the Apple App Store and Google Play may collect information according to their own privacy policies. That activity is governed by Apple and Google, not by us.

Children's privacy

Routine is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
