This Privacy Policy describes how PawKit ("the App", "we") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application. We respect your privacy and aim to be transparent about what we do with your data.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- *Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifier (when you sign in via Email, Google, or Apple).
- *Pet data: name, breed, species, birthday, weight history, photos, and other attributes you choose to enter.
- *Activity logs: walks, meals, water intake, potty events, grooming, play, medications, vet visits, vaccinations, symptoms, temperatures, allergies, behavior notes, and free-text notes you add to any record.
- *AI requests: the question text you submit through the "Ask AI" feature, along with the aggregated activity data sent as context.
- *Subscription transactions: receipt identifier and product ID handled by Apple StoreKit (we do not store credit card or payment-method data — Apple handles all payment processing).
- *Promo codes you redeem inside the App.
Information collected automatically
- *Device tokens for push notifications (Apple Push Notification Service and Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- *App diagnostic logs (errors, performance metrics) via Firebase Crashlytics-style telemetry. Logs do not include the contents of your records, only error stack traces.
- *App Check tokens that verify requests come from your authentic copy of the App.
