Phew ("we", "our", or "the app") is a breathing exercise app for iOS. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Information you provide: You may optionally enter your name and birthday within the app. This information is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Usage analytics: We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data, such as which features you use and how often. This helps us improve the app. PostHog may collect your IP address and device information. You can learn more at posthog.com/privacy.

Apple Health: If you grant permission, Phew writes mindfulness session data to Apple Health. This data stays on your device and is controlled entirely by Apple's Health app. We do not access or transmit your Health data.

Purchases: Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, birthday, session history, or reminder preferences. All of this data lives on your device only.

Data Retention

You can clear all locally stored app data at any time from the Profile tab.
