Dua Compass — Privacy Policy

Dua Compass is built and operated by S-Bytes IT (data controller, hereafter "we" or "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising or analytics SDKs.

1. Who we are

The app you've installed, Dua Compass ("the app"), is operated alongside a backend service hosted on our own infrastructure. You can reach us at selami.c@sbytes-it.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

When you sign up or sign in, our authentication provider, Clerk (see Section 4), collects:

• Your email address
• Your name (first and last, optional)
• Your profile photo (if you upload one)
• A unique user ID generated by Clerk
• Account creation and last sign-in timestamps

If you sign in with Google, Clerk also receives the basic profile fields Google shares with us (name, email, profile photo). We do not receive your Google password.

2.2 Content you create in the app

We store the content you actively create so it can sync across your devices:

• Duas (title, content, folder assignment, favorite status, timestamps)
• Folders (name, ordering, timestamps)
