This Privacy Policy explains how TasteShelf handles information when you use the app. TasteShelf is designed as a local-first personal archive for your tastes.
You may save shelf titles, categories, item titles, notes, tags, ratings, dates, URLs, photos, location text, and map coordinates. This information is created by you and stored locally on your device.
TasteShelf requests photo or camera access only when you add images. Location access is used to search for nearby places or save map locations. You can change permissions at any time in system settings.
TasteShelf does not operate a user account system and does not transmit your saved shelf or item content to a TasteShelf server. Data remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, email, or back it up outside the app.
TasteShelf does not sell your data and does not share your saved content with advertisers. If you open external maps, email, or system services, those services may process information according to their own policies.
Your data remains on your device until you edit it, delete shelves or items, clear all data, uninstall the app, or replace it with an imported backup. Exported backup files are controlled by you outside the app.
