AnchorWorks (“the App”) is operated by Lars Erickson (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. AnchorWorks uses:
   • Location data (including background location, if you grant permission)
   • Notification permission status
   • App settings you configure (for example anchor and alert preferences)
2. AnchorWorks uses this information only to provide core app functionality, including:
   • Setting and monitoring anchor position
   • Detecting drift relative to your configured radius
   • Sending local drift alerts and related notification actions
   • Supporting retrieval guidance and app state restoration
3. Data Storage and Sharing
   • AnchorWorks is designed to operate on-device.
   • We do not sell your personal data.
   • We do not share location data with third parties for advertising.
   • We may disclose information only if required by law.
4. Notifications: AnchorWorks uses local notifications to warn you about drift and provide quick actions. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
5. Location Permissions: For best background reliability, the App may request “Always” location access. You may change permission levels anytime in iOS Settings, but reduced access may limit drift alert behavior.
6. Data Retention: Configuration and operational state are retained on your device unless removed by you (for example by deleting the app or resetting settings).
7. Children’s Privacy: AnchorWorks is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted at the support/privacy URL.
