This Privacy Policy explains how Latent Wallpapers ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Latent Wallpapers iOS application and related backend services (the "Service").

1. Summary of the data model

Latent Wallpapers uses anonymous Supabase authentication instead of a user-created email/password account. The app creates or reuses an app-specific anonymous user ID so it can load favorites, personalize recommendations, enforce rate limits, and validate backend access.

The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location. It may request add-only Photos permission when you choose to save a wallpaper to your device.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Anonymous account and backend session data

We collect your Supabase anonymous user identifier, session/authentication metadata, and related technical identifiers needed to authenticate requests and operate user-specific features.

2.2 Favorites, personalization, and interaction events

We collect app activity tied to your anonymous user ID, including:

• wallpapers you favorite or unfavorite;
• wallpapers you open;
• time spent on a wallpaper detail screen;
• wallpapers you download/save;
• search queries you submit;
• search results you tap;
• collection/surface context, result position, and recommendation metadata used for ranking and debugging; and
• hidden-image or preference signals where supported by backend functionality.
