Class Manager - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Class Manager ("the App"), developed by Sharath Aarohana, handles information when you use the App on your iOS device.

── THE SHORT VERSION ── Class Manager stores all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. We have no servers. We have no accounts. Your data never leaves your phone.

── INFORMATION YOU ENTER ── The App allows you to enter information about your students, including names, parent contact details, attendance records, class notes, and fee records. This information: • Is stored only on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData) • Is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party • Is never accessed by the developer or anyone else • Is fully under your control at all times

── INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT ── We do not collect: • Any personally identifiable information about you or your students • Usage data, analytics, or crash reports • Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data • Any data through third-party SDKs or analytics tools

── DATA STORAGE & SECURITY ── All data you enter is stored locally on your iOS device and protected by iOS's built-in security, including device encryption. If you enable iCloud Backup on your device, your app data may be included in that backup under Apple's privacy terms.

── EXPORT & BACKUP ── The App allows you to export your data as CSV or JSON files. These exports are created on your device and shared only when you explicitly choose to share them. We have no access to exported files.

── CHILDREN'S PRIVACY ── The App is designed for use by teachers and educators, not by children directly. Teachers may enter information about students of any age as part of managing their classes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All such data remains on the teacher's device and is never transmitted.

── APPLICABLE LAW ── This App is developed in India and complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). For users outside India, the App's on-device-only architecture means no personal data is transferred internationally.

All student data, attendance, and fee information are stored locally on the user’s device.

We do not use any tracking, analytics, or third-party data collection services.

Users are responsible for managing and securing their own data on their devices.
