This Privacy Policy describes how Treecom ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use Jira Boss AI ("the Plugin," "Service"), a plugin for Crisp.chat.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Jira Boss AI, we may access or process the following types of information:

Account information: Your Crisp.chat and Atlassian Jira account identifiers necessary to authenticate and connect the Plugin to your accounts.

Conversation data: Content from your Crisp.chat conversations that you choose to use when creating Jira issues, including text, files, and attachments.

Jira project data: Information about your Jira projects, issue types, and fields necessary to create and display issues within the Plugin.

Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the Plugin, such as feature usage and error logs, collected to maintain and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we access to: provide the core functionality of the Plugin, including creating Jira issues from Crisp conversations and displaying linked issues; transmit relevant conversation data to the third-party AI provider you have configured, if you choose to enable AI-generated issue titles and descriptions; maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Transmission to Third Parties

Jira Boss AI acts as an intermediary between Crisp.chat, Atlassian Jira, and, if enabled by you, a third-party AI provider. When you use the Plugin, data is transmitted between these platforms as necessary to perform the requested actions.

If you enable AI-generated content, conversation data relevant to the issue being created will be sent to the AI provider you have selected and configured. We do not control how third-party AI providers process your data. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies and terms of your chosen AI provider before enabling this feature.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Retention

We do not store the content of your Crisp conversations or Jira issues on our servers beyond what is necessary to process your requests in real time. Usage data and account identifiers may be retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

When you uninstall the Plugin or cancel your subscription, we will delete your account information and any associated data within a reasonable timeframe, unless we are required by law to retain it.
