Backspace does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal data.

• Thoughts you write are stored only on your device
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection
• We do not require accounts, emails, or logins

2. How Your Data Is Used

Thoughts you enter are used only to support the app’s core functionality:

• Displaying your text while you write
• Automatically deleting thoughts after the selected time

Once a thought expires or is released, it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using iOS system protections.

Backspace does not:

• Upload your data to servers
• Sync across devices
