Meet a Hawk (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a social discovery app for students. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Blocking, Reporting, and Safety

Meet a Hawk provides tools to help users stay safe and control their experience.

• Users may block other users at any time.

  Blocking immediately removes the blocked profile from the user’s feed and prevents future visibility between the two users.

• Users may report profiles for inappropriate, abusive, or objectionable content directly within the app.

• When a user is blocked or reported:

  • The action is logged so the developer can review the account and associated content.
  • Reported content may be reviewed and removed.
  • Accounts that violate Community Guidelines may be temporarily or permanently banned.

• The developer commits to reviewing reports and taking appropriate action, including content removal or account suspension, within 24 hours where possible.

Data Used for Moderation

To maintain a safe community, Meet a Hawk may collect and process the following information for moderation purposes:

• User ID of the reporting and reported accounts
• Reason for report and optional user-provided details
• Timestamps related to reports or blocking actions

This information is used solely for safety, moderation, and enforcement of Community Guidelines, and is not shared with third parties except where required by law.

User Control

• Blocking and reporting tools are available directly within the app.
• Users may delete their account at any time, which permanently removes their profile and associated data.
