This policy describes the information that EventLens (the “App”) collects and uses when guests share photos and videos at private events, as well as the choices available to users.
1. Information We Collect
- Photos and videos that users capture and upload (including EXIF and other metadata, if present)
- Device information required to keep the App stable (OS type, app version, error logs, etc.)
- Event visibility settings and approval status provided by event organizers
2. How We Use Information
- To share photos and videos among guests at the same event
- To analyze issues and improve quality
- To review and respond to policy violations or inappropriate content
3. Storage Location and Retention
- Captured media stored on the device can be deleted at any time from the in-app gallery.
- Approved media is stored in event-specific cloud storage and deleted by the organizer within 30 days after the event (or earlier on request).
- Unless we have a legal obligation, data is deleted promptly once the above purposes are fulfilled.
4. Sharing with Third Parties
- Content is only shared with viewers designated by the event organizer and is never sold to third parties.
- If contractors (e.g., IT operations) require access, they are bound by confidentiality agreements.

- Encrypted network communication (HTTPS)
- Access controls and audit logs for storage systems
