This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how Verbord ("the Application") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information. The Application is a purely client-side application and does not rely on a back-end server. All data you generate, including recordings and location information, is stored on your device and can be synchronized to your personal account via iCloud. We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you.

1. Information We Collect

In order to provide the functionality of the Application, we may access and process the following types of information:

• Recording Data: When you use the recording features of this app, recording files are stored directly on your device. These files are not uploaded to our servers.
• Location information: When you add location information to an audio recording, we request access to your device location. The location data will be stored on your device along with the corresponding audio recording. We do not upload your location information to our servers or share it with any third parties.
• iCloud Data Synchronization: To make it easier for you to synchronize your recordings and transcripts across different Apple devices, the Application utilizes the iCloud feature provided by Apple. All synchronized data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is protected by the Apple Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud account or the data in it.

2. Information Storage and Protection

• Local storage: All recordings and location data are stored locally on your device.
• iCloud Storage: If you enable iCloud synchronization, your data is stored in your iCloud account through Apple's services.
• Data Security: The Application does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. The security of data stored on your device is protected by your device's own operating system security features, such as encryption. We do not have access to, process, or control over your local data.

3. Use of information

We only use your recordings and location information for the core functionality of the Application, which is to generate, save and display your recordings on a map. We do not use your data for any other purpose, including but not limited to advertising, data analytics or selling to third parties.

4. Third party services

The Application does not integrate with any third-party analytics or advertising services. All data synchronization is done through Apple's iCloud service.

5. Your rights

Because all data is stored locally or in your iCloud account, you have complete control over it:

• Access and Delete: You can access and delete all of your recordings and transcripts from within the Application at any time.
• Stop data collection: You can disable the Application's access to the microphone and location services through your device's system settings.
• Stop iCloud Sync: You can turn off the Application's sync feature in your device's iCloud settings.
