About the Project

We are building the next-generation edge proxy layer for an Intelligent Edge Services Platform. The CDN & Edge Proxy pillar is the performance-critical heart of the platform — responsible for request routing, caching, dynamic acceleration, and protocol handling at every PoP.

Role Overview

You will own the design and implementation of the CDN and Edge Proxy layer from the ground up. This means standing up NGINX/OpenResty-based edge nodes, building cache logic, implementing enterprise web performance features, and laying the foundation that the WAAP and Edge Compute layers will plug into.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build the core edge proxy using NGINX + OpenResty; implement request routing, caching policies, cache purge, and cache warming logic
• Implement enterprise CDN features: origin shielding, dynamic site acceleration, compression, image optimization hooks, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 support
• Build real-time cache purge API and instant configuration deployment pipeline
• Design the data plane interface that WAAP and Edge Compute modules will hook into
