The Center for Teaching and Learning has developed a preparedness plan for instruction for the fall 2020 semester which includes pertinent and relevant resources and supports for faculty who are preparing to teach their courses without the interruptions that can come from external influences. In this way, students will continue to make progress toward their degrees as they have previously planned.

Spring 2020

• Strategy: Reactive Adaptation
• Preparation: Targeted trainings; emphasis on discrete tools (e.g., Zoom, Collaborate, Google Hangouts)
• When: Spring 2020

Summer 2020

• Strategy: Responsive Planning
• Preparation: Focused trainings; emphasis on teaching and learning systems (e.g., Blackboard)
• When: late Spring 2020-Summer I

Fall 2020

• Strategy: Integrative Design
• Preparation: In-depth workshops; participants take time to develop adaptable and meaningful syllabi
• When: Intersession-Summer III
