As the host, there are a lot of things to remember when setting up a virtual event. Here is a checklist you can copy to use!

- [ ] specify start and end times for my event?
- [ ] specify server capacity?
- [ ] provide a logo for the event? [optional]
- [ ] create and finalize my map customizations ? [optional]
- [ ] create and finalize my brochure ? [optional]
- [ ] get the admin link (and also send it to the other admins if applicable)?
- [ ] make sure I know how broadcasting works?
- If not, brush up your knowledge using this video.

- [ ] send important information to my attendees? They need to know or have:
- [ ] The COPPA Waiver for any participants that are 13 and younger
- [ ] the start and end times of the event
- [ ] the correct event link (make sure not to accidentally send the admin link!)
- [ ] the Technical Specifications for Gatherly for the platform. Make sure to highlight the fact they need to sign on using a Chrome browser and operate on their laptop/desktop.
