🟦 What is Power Mapping?

Power mapping helps you identify all actors connected to your community hub — those who are involved, influenced, or able to influence the project.

This includes internal staff, target groups, local authorities, political actors, institutions, organizations, and networks.

🟩 Why do it?

Power mapping allows you to quickly understand:

• Who has power
• Who has interest
• How actors relate to each other
• Who you need to collaborate with
• What level of participation is possible
• Which strategies will help shape the desired change

Who do we need to involve in developing our local strategies for community hubs?

Because they

• have high interest & high power, or
• may grow into important stakeholders.
