About Me


I am Nanda Putri Aulia Aprilian, an individual who is passionate about learning new things to continuously improve my knowledge and skills.

I have a basic skill set in Visual Effects, primarily using Unreal Engine and Houdini. In Unreal Engine, I work with Niagara System and Niagara Fluids, as well as material and material function creation. In Houdini, I create simulations such as realistic smoke, which I export as flipbook textures and integrate into Unreal Engine. Currently, I am also expanding my skills by learning Visual Effects in Unity.

In addition to my technical skills, I have experience in administrative tasks using Microsoft Excel, Word, and spreadsheets, including financial records, bookkeeping, and invoice management. I also have basic design and editing skills using tools such as Canva.

I worked using Unreal Engine 5.6โ€“5.7 and Houdini 20.5 to create and implement real-time visual effects for various project needs. I focused on developing VFX that are visually compelling while remaining optimized for performance in a real-time environment.

My responsibilities included creating a wide range of visual effects using Houdini and Unreal Engine, such as particle systems, realistic simulations, environmental and ambience effects, as well as character skill effects. I worked with Niagara System and Niagara Fluids, and integrated Houdini simulations (e.g., flipbook textures) into Unreal Engine for real-time use.

I also collaborated closely with the team to ensure all visual effects aligned with the projectโ€™s artistic direction, gameplay feel, and technical requirements, contributing to a cohesive and immersive visual experience.
