See all of your projects on the map! Navigate your portfolio of projects on the map from scratchpad or inside any project. See all of your projects in context on the map, with quick access to edit project information or open the project.
Your projects are inherently spatial - they represent a specific set of objects in a specific place on earth.
Therefore, it’s important to visualize your projects in context of each other.
The portfolio layer maps the location of every one of your projects, while also reporting on Workspace Properties assigned to them. It essentially turns all of your hard work into a data layer that can be actioned just like any other layer, using Lens (Data Table).
Most often, you will view your portfolio in your Home Space. However, you can also add a Portfolio Layer to any project as additional data, if you wish.
By default, your home will include a portfolio layer.
The layer contents (projects) will appear in the layer palette, on the map, and in the project gallery.
Turning off the portfolio layer will remove results from the project gallery.
Add a portfolio layer to your project by clicking:
Data layer → Create Your own → select layer type
Give the portfolio layer a name, and select which workspace of projects to display:
Once added, the layer is visible on the map, and can be styled using Lens (Data Table).
Select a project label on the map to access the special portfolio functions.
Reveal the ‣ flyout to edit the name, description, or other properties
Open the project to edit geometry, usages, and analytics.
By default, the portfolio layer shows only the project name in labels placed at the centroid of the project boundary.
Adjust the portfolio labels and map appearance using Lens (Data Table) .
