Overview
Remade is an iOS app that lets you select or take a selfie, generate an AI transformation preview, and receive a personalized reset plan. This Privacy Policy explains what data Remade collects or processes, how that data is collected, how it is used, which service providers may receive it, and how you can control or delete it.
Data We Collect or Process
Remade may process: the selfie/photo you choose from your photo library or capture with the camera; AI-generated transformation images; generation preferences you select in onboarding, such as gender, goal, timeline, and routine preferences; anonymous Supabase user identifiers; Sign in with Apple account identifiers if you choose to sign in; subscription and entitlement status; restore-purchase status; app preferences; routine progress; daily logs; progress check-in photos; and basic technical data needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.
How We Collect Data
Photos are collected only when you choose a photo from your library or take a photo with the camera inside Remade. Generation preferences are collected when you tap choices in onboarding or app screens. Subscription status is received from Apple's App Store systems through RevenueCat. Account and session information is created through Supabase anonymous authentication or Sign in with Apple if you choose to use it.
AI Photo Processing and Consent
Before Remade sends a selected photo to a third-party AI service, the app shows an AI disclosure and asks for your permission. That disclosure explains what data is sent, who receives it, and why it is sent. If you do not tap Allow AI Generation, Remade does not send your photo to OpenAI for AI generation.
What Is Sent to OpenAI
When you allow AI generation, Remade sends the selfie/photo you selected, basic image metadata such as file type, and generation preferences you selected, such as gender or goal when provided, to OpenAI through Remade's Supabase backend. Remade does not send your contacts, precise location, payment card details, device photo library, unrelated photos, or Apple ID email address to OpenAI for AI generation.
Who Receives AI Data
The AI generation request is sent from the app to Remade's Supabase backend, then to OpenAI for image processing. OpenAI receives the selected photo and the generation instructions needed to create the AI transformation preview. Supabase processes the request, authenticates the session, runs Remade's backend function, and may cache generated results in Supabase Storage so the app can retrieve the result.
Purpose of AI Processing
Photos and generation preferences are used to create your AI transformation preview, return the generated image to the app, save or display before-and-after results, and build your personalized reset routine. Remade does not use selected photos to identify you, authenticate you, create a biometric identifier, create a faceprint, or perform face recognition.
Face Data
A selected selfie or photo may contain face-related information, including your face, skin, hair, expression, posture, and other visible appearance features. Remade processes this information only to provide the AI preview, before-and-after comparison, result saving, sharing, and reset-plan features. Remade does not sell face data.
Local Storage
Remade stores profile preferences, transformation references, routine progress, daily logs, progress photos, selected source images, and generated images locally on your device using Apple storage technologies. Local images remain on your device until you delete the result, delete your account, delete the app, or clear local app data.
