When you sign up for Plover, we ask you to connect your Stripe account by redirecting you to Stripe for authorisation. Stripe then shares a read-only access token with Plover. This token allows Plover be able to get events from your Stripe account so we can send your customers the necessary emails you have set. (With a read-only token, we can't change or add anything to your Stripe account).
We also ask you to provide your email and a password for identification purpose. These credentials allow you access the service and provides an identifier to map everything related to you on the service to. Without this, you will not be able to access the service. We also use your email to communicate with you as regards your account and service updates.
We use other third party tools like Google Analytics (analytics) and Stripe (payment). These tools use tracking technologies and collect data like IP address, Device identifiers, Web browser information, Page view statistics, Browsing history, Usage information and Log data (e.g. access times, hardware and software information). This data is used to analyse usage, provide support for you, protect against fraudulent, illegal or harmful actions and facilitate payment.
When you login, a tiny piece of information (called cookies) is stored on your browser for authentication purpose. These cookies only last during the browser session and does not contain any sensitive data about you.
Your data is yours and you can delete your account anytime. Simply login to your dashboard and go to the organisation settings page to do so. All data related to you will be completely removed from the system.
We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any information related to you to any third party. We may provide non-personal statistics about the service use and traffic patterns to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. All collected data are protected by using reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We won’t hand your data over to law enforcement unless a court order says we have to. And unless we’re legally prevented from it, we’ll always inform you when such requests are made.
Plover is operated in the United States. If you are located in the European Union or elsewhere outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. By using our Site, participating in any of our services and/or providing us with your information, you consent to this transfer.
