What is it: a cold call opener that doesn't trigger "this is a sales call" alarm

How to use it:

  1. Visit prospect's website before calling
  2. Find something specific to reference (new product, pricing structure, “about us” page)
  3. Ask: “Hi [Name], was on your website and had a quick question, got 2 minutes?"

Example:

"Hi Sarah, was on your website and had a quick question about your new product launch, do you have 2 minutes?"

→ Prospect assumes you're a potential customer or partner, not a salesperson

→ Much higher chance they'll engage vs. "How are you today?"
